Our Fees

We charge a fixed fee for the completion of each of work stages 1 to 3 which is agreed with the client in advance. Fees for work stage 4 are by negotiation and will depend upon the complexity of the tasks being undertaken.

Clients are free to terminate our involvement in the project after the completion of any work stage.

The overall pre-agreed fee is payable in 3 stages as follows:
  • Work Stage 1

    To cover the cost of preparing the initial feasibility study, our charge is usually in the order of £500

  • Work Stage 2

    The cost of obtaining planning permission will depend upon the complexity of the work involved and that, in turn, will depend to a great extent upon the level of information required by a Local Planning Authority to assess an application. However, typical costs range between £3,500 and £6,000.

  • Work Stage 3

    Our fee for the advice given under work stage 3 will depend upon our initial assessment of the work involved but typical costs are between £5,000 and £8,000.

Payment Terms

  • Fees agreed for the completion of work stages 1 and 2 are payable in advance of any work being undertaken.
  • Fees agreed for the completion of work stage 3 are payable in 12 equal monthly instalments following the practical opening of the business.
  • If the client wishes to engage us on an on-going basis under work stage 4, which would only take effect after the business had been operating for 12 months, then our fee would be based upon a percentage of rental income received.
